Application for Reciprocity

Reciprocity is only for certain certification categories, not for licenses, with a limited number of bordering states. When requesting reciprocity FROM Tennessee to another state, the Reciprocity Form for the State of Tennessee must have the top half of the form legibly completed and submitted to Tennessee for verification along with the state identified  that you are requesting reciprocity with.

If you are wanting reciprocity FROM another state TO Tennessee then you must complete the top half of the Reciprocity Form for the State of Tennesse and send to the state you have taken your certification for that state to verify and for that state to send directly to Tennessee.

You must have tested in the state that you are requesting reciprocity from and hold a current certification in the category of certification you wish to reciprocate.

A copy of your certification must be with the application sent to Tennessee.
